Founded with Purpose
Mort, affectionately known as Papa, began to experience debilitating chronic back pain. His son Adam, the founder of Papa & Barkley, began the search for a natural way to relieve his pain. Barkley, the beloved family dog, was glued to Papa and comforted him through the difficult moments.
Power of the Plant
Pharmaceuticals and traditional pain relief options were either ineffective or riddled with side-effects. Familiar with the power of cannabis, Adam cooked up the first version of our now famous Releaf Balm and gave it to Papa.
A Legacy of Love
The balm worked wonders and Papa was relieved of chronic pain. Word traveled fast and thus, Papa & Barkley was born. Over the past decade, we've grown from humble beginnings to an award-winning brand. Through all the changes, our mission remains constant: effective, natural relief.
